Today’s Crime
In the nation of Trinidad and Tobago, crime is definitely at a high. Every day the murder toll rises. Currently it is at 318, which is shocking considering the fact that we are only half way through the year and that our population is approximately 1.3 million people. It leaves everyone to wonder what are the adults leaving for the future generation. Every day, there is crime, why can’t we be like those other Caribbean islands with low crime rates?
The older generation is quick to blame the young people for being delinquent and lazy but aren’t they the ones with the power to help with the situation. They have the power to reduce crime but why aren’t they doing anything?
